A new brand, backed by four decades of furnishing heritage
AIKON is the contract furnishing, FF&E and procurement brand of KITWOOD Cyprus Ltd, launched in 2022. Behind it stands KITWOOD — a joinery and manufacturing company founded in Lebanon in 1981, expanded to Cyprus in 2019, with a procurement network spanning Italy, Spain, Germany and China.

From a Lebanese workshop to a Cyprus-based international furnishing partner
KITWOOD was founded in Lebanon in 1981 as a small joinery workshop, producing custom kitchens, wardrobes and bespoke furniture for private clients. From the start, the company built its reputation on a simple combination — European-grade hardware, dense panel cores, and a craftsperson’s respect for detail.
Through the 1990s and 2000s, investment in industrial machinery and engineered-panel production allowed us to move beyond one-off pieces and take on larger residential developments, hotel rooms and office fit-outs. In parallel, we built direct procurement relationships with manufacturing partners across Italy, Spain, Germany and China for seating, lighting, stone, sanitaryware and industrial kitchen equipment — what we couldn’t produce ourselves, we learned to source with the same quality discipline.
By the 2010s, design, manufacturing, sourcing, logistics and on-site installation had been unified under one project-management discipline — letting us deliver complete turnkey projects with a single accountable point of contact.
In 2019 we expanded operations to Cyprus, opening KITWOOD Cyprus Ltd in Larnaca and bringing four decades of joinery, manufacturing and procurement know-how to the local market and to international projects served from Cyprus.
In 2022 we launched AIKON Contract & Procurement as our dedicated brand for hotel groups, restaurant operators, developers, architects, contractors and private clients who need furniture and equipment delivered as a coordinated programme — not as thirty separate vendors. AIKON is still young, but the workshop, the supplier network, the design and installation teams behind it have been refining the discipline for more than forty years — and the brand is growing fast across Cyprus, the wider Mediterranean and beyond.

In-house design & technical teams
Architects, interior designers and joinery engineers who translate a brief, drawing set or BOQ into 3D layouts, shop drawings, finish schedules and itemised quotations — coordinating directly with your architect, designer or main contractor.
Own manufacturing + vetted partner factories
Custom joinery, wardrobes and kitchens are produced in our facility; FF&E, seating, lighting, stone, sanitaryware and industrial kitchens are sourced through a long-standing network of European and Asian factories we audit and re-audit.
Project management & on-site installation
Dedicated project managers, supervisors and installation crews handle templating, delivery sequencing, on-site assembly, snag-list completion and handover — with supervised local partners when working outside Cyprus.
Outsourcing, logistics & consolidated shipping
We consolidate orders across multiple suppliers into single shipments, manage export documentation, customs and last-mile delivery — so a hotel, restaurant or villa receives one coordinated programme rather than thirty separate vendors.
Quality control at every stage
Scheduled factory checks, pre-shipment inspections and on-site QC against the agreed specification — backed by a 24-month defect-liability cover post-handover on KITWOOD-manufactured items.
Delivered on programme
Fixed delivery schedules, milestone reporting and contingency planning around long-lead items — because in contract work, hitting the opening date is as important as the spec itself.
